1. Steal a creature with Merieke Ri Berit

2. equip Thornbite Staff to her

3. untap her with some other effect

4. Once she is untapped her destroy effect goes on the stack

5. When the stolen creature dies Thornbite Staff's untap effect goes on the stack

6. with either previous ability on the stack, tap Merieke Ri Berit in response to steal some other creature

7. Allow Thornbite Staff's ability to resolve untapping her

8. Loop to step 4. repeat until opponents are annoyed.
