So if you couldn't tell the deck has a new look due to CSS Coding. Special thanks to scotchtapedsleeves for doing it for me!

Hi,

good job on that deck description!

I have some more walls for you: Wall of Kelp, Sylvan Caryatid, Vine Trellis, Overgrown Battlement, Drift of Phantasms and Wall of Shards. There's also Grand Arbiter Augustin IV as some kind of a second Sunscape Familiar.

Assuming that you're drawing a bunch of cards with this deck, you could try Burgeoning and Exploration to unload on lands faster.

There's no Command Tower in your mana base right now.

Have fun!

Thanks! I try to make my descriptions fun while trying to give an idea of what the deck does, I'm glad you like it.

I had Wall of Kelp, Vine Trellis, and Overgrown Battlement in here while I was constructing the deck, but I felt that there were just better walls. I'll have to think about Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, cost reduction is always nice. While Sylvan Caryatid and Drift of Phantasms are nice cards, I'm trying to keep the non-wall creatures to a minimum (this is wall tribal after all).

I'll have to think about Burgeoning and Exploration, so far I've play tested once and I did find that I was drawing a bunch and being stuck with lands in hand (although, to be fair I did have Rhystic Study out).

No Command Tower?!?! I can't believe I missed/forgot it. Well, that's embarrassing.

Your deck looks pretty good for aggro-control.

Noetic Scales should be really strong since your creatures won't get bounced due to their low power and your card draw, while you totally disrupt opponents. Stoic Angel and Derevi, Empyrial Tactician can help you pursue a stax strategy.

Aluren is really powerful since most of your walls have low CMC, whereas you aren't worried about low CMC creatures your opponents might have.

Vizier of the Menagerie could help you cycle through your deck really fast.

Some tribal cards like Door of Destinies, Kindred Discovery, and Descendants' Path could be helpful.

Maybe Archangel of Strife and Angelic Skirmisher could be useful.

Thanks! Aggro and Control are definitely things that you don't see together too often.

Noetic Scales could be good against decks that dump their hands, and like you said, my walls would be safe. Stoic Angel and Derevi might be good for some more control, I'll have to think about them.

Aluren would be good, my walls have low cmc and come in powerful. I also wouldn't have to worry about completely running out of resources because of Arcades. Vizier of the Menagerie could help, I'll think about it.

I'm not really sure about Door of Destinies, Kindred Discovery, and Descendants' Path. With door I'm worried about boosting so much that I still die to my board wipes, I feel like I have enough card draw without Kindred Discovery, I also worry about burying spells I might need with Descendants' Path.

Archangel of Strife is a good idea, with "peace" mode my walls essentially get +3/+3. Angelic Skirmisher is good too; I can enable vigilance if I don't have it, or give my walls some other advantages.

Thanks for the suggestions! If you have any idea what cuts I could make to include from my maybe board then go ahead and suggest them.

I've taken a closer look at my 3-drops and below creatures, and I actually have less than I thought. I actually feel like Leyline of Anticipation or Vedalken Orrery would be a better idea than Aluren seeing as with Leyline and Orrery I can also cast my other spells, not just limited creatures.

You're right, Aluren is a card that needs the deck to be built around it, but it's really powerful if you do, since you can cast walls for free and draw more walls to cast for free with Arcades.

My suggested cut would probably be Venser's Journal for Noetic Scales, since you'd be casting most of the creatures you draw rather than keeping them in hand, and with your walls and vigilance you shouldn't need the lifegain.

Great deck description! I love seeing walls other than the pillow fort mechanics.

I'm glad that you like the deck and description, but what you said basically falls under the "cool deck" rule of the forum. Do you have any suggestions? If you don't then do you have any ideas what I could take out to put something from the "maybeboard" in? I would really appreciate it if you did.

My only issue here is that I don't think Arcades' has an Insidious Will, just doesn't seem the insidious type.

I agree, but I just love Insidious Will and wanted to represent it in my description.

I would probably find a spot for Krosan Grip, the split second really comes in handy so I make sure to include it in any green deck I have. I would suggest removing Crystallization or Bant Charm for it. In fact, I think it would probably be best to remove both and include Krosan Grip along with another cheap removal spell or counterspell. (Pact of Negation or Path to Exile might work well).

I feel like Carven Caryatid could also replace one of the vanilla walls in here. It might not be a wall, but the draw may make it useful.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm not really concerned about the split second with Krosan Grip. Crystallization is a good political tool, and i like the versatility of Bant Charm. Pact of Negation is good, I'll have to consider it. Path to Exile was in here at one point, but i cut it for more counterspells.

Thanks for the upvote!

Great deck and really cool description :)

If you want to get more aggro you can pump up the Walls with Shield Wall and Steadfastness.

Odric, Lunarch Marshal seems like a card that would fit nicely here. Aegis of the Heavens too. I'm not really sure what else to add. Maybe Eldritch Evolution?

I love the build. Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive looks like a real gamebreaker here.

Id suggest Teferi's Protection and Chain of Vapor to help protect against board wipes.

Also with a CMC average that low, ya could. Afford to remove 2-3 land Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top could be a good inclusion.

Other than that i like the deck.

Thanks for the suggestions Daggerfella.

I've found that boardwipes aren't a huge problem here. I try not to flood the board too much, and I usually have a counter in hand when it came down to this. Because of this I actually took Teferi's Protection out for cards that help my walls.

While Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top are good cards, I have no idea how I would fit them in the deck.

Hi! Great list! I have an Arcades deck, and it's one of my favorites. I'd like to recommend Tower Defense. Spending two mana to give a swinging team +20 or more is a ridiculous value and has won more than one game for me. I hope you're having a wonderful time playing the deck!

Thanks MyojinsBane! Arcades is definitely a really fun commander. Tower Defense is sweet, I'll definitely have to find a place for it!
