This is a deck I built with just some cards I had laying around. I play modern but I have a group of people at work into EDH. I have a modern deck or two but nothing with EDH and not a lot of Legendary creatures to make my commanders. I have a vampire deck that I have to flesh out when I get money to order the cards but so I can go ahead and start playing I've devised this hodgepodge in order to have something functional.

The basic strategy of this deck is to use Alesha to keep cards coming back again and again from the graveyard so my board is never really empty. I'm running mostly human and/or ally creatures with effects that activate when they hit the battlefield. None of my creatures are exceptionally strong by themselves but when their effects work together some of them can be a little monstrous. I have a few cards thrown in to give Alesha and some stronger cards a bit more staying power, as well as punish enemies for trying to block me.

If all else fails I am running some lifegain due to:A) Later in the game I may start taking some heavy damage cause I don't have super strong cardsB) I needed cards to make it to the 100 card mark for EDHC) Some of the life-gain effects synergize with Alesha's effect.

Let me know what weaknesses you think I may have, and suggest some cards that can either cover those weaknesses or make the deck a little more polished and competitive! If I enjoy this deck I may end up refining it instead of finishing out my Vampire Tribal, so any helpful suggestions would be great!
