Excluded: Wall of Blood is a random win out of nowhere much like Master of Cruelties . Not fun for a beginner to play against.

Reveillark with Karmic Guide seemed like it would be just too intimidating, even without instant speed or free sacrifice.

Graveblade Marauder : one of the coolest things about Alesha is that you don't have to overextend your graveyard. This encourages you to do so.

Butcher of Malakir seemed too mana-intensive

Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit : two card combo? Not at a casual table
