Hello, random stranger, have a nice day and please take a look at this marvelous pile of garbage. This is an Akiri voltron deck, but not just any voltron deck, it's a "janky one trick pony" kind. Let me explain. While this Boros beauty has a somewhat linear game plan, the card doesn't specify exactly what kind of artifacts you'll be needing in order to smash your opponent's face. So I thought why not throw all the usual stuff out of the window and make something different (albeit not as effective, but when it works...it just works).

The Core concept

Thanks to Ravnica Allegiance, white now has one of the stupidest cards in EDH - Smothering Tithe Combine that with an assortment of wheels available in red and you get yourself a pretty good understanding of how this deck works:

• Step one: Cast our bad boy
• Step two: Resolve any Wheel
• ???
• Finish them

Where do we go from here?

Once you get those sweet treasures, you will have full control over the fate of your opponents. Your options include, but not limited to:

• Reforge the Soul
• Molten Psyche
• Memory Jar
• Runehorn Hellkite
• Khorvath's Fury
• Magus of the Wheel
• Wheel of Fortune

In for the Kill Show

You can go for lethal commander damage from here, since 21 treasure = 21 commander damage (not counting any other artifacts you may control at the time).

Other possibilities here are:

• Reckless Fireweaver for a quicker game
• All That Glitters for when you need opponents extra dead
• Surestrike Trident - my personal favorite way of ending someone with a commander without actually going to combat (eat it, Maze of Ith)

If you (unlike me) want your friends to stay your friends, you should also include cards like Seize the Day or Aggravated Assault. If you're a nasty person who thinks friends are overrated, please refer to the next section.

Resources? What resources? Show

This route is neither for the faint of heart nor for the folks who actually like to be able to play with other people: Once you have all those treasures, it's time to ensure the window of opportunity doesn't close after you pass the turn. With the help of spells like:

• Armageddon
• Ravages of War
• Catastrophe
• Fall of the Thran
• Jokulhaups
• Obliterate

you can pretty much cut-off a lot of options your opponents might have.

Important Note: I personally think that MLD is fine IF and WHEN you can end the game fast enough. In this deck you can, so I decided to include some. Even though it's not an absolute necessity.

For all those maniacs who are not satisfied yet, we have another thing that can lock people out of the chance for retaliation: Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast It's that simple and it leaves your opponents with an empty table. The best part about this combo is that even without an overloaded Vandalblast Lattice helps buff Akiri for when you need some extra damage (for some reason).
