I've always had a fable for equipments, since they came out back in Mirrodin. I sustained a mono white Equipment deck for a log time and since i started Commander i tried to build one again. The Nahiri PW Commander was a litte to "white" for me, Sram was a little too popular in my playgroup, so the next best thing was my Zurgo Helmsmasher. That one revolved around Zurgo and wasn't as Equipment focussed as i wanted it to be, so i was on the search again.

I also wanted Red in my Deck, for Godo, Bandit Warlord, Sunforger and a couple other things. Finally after owning Akiri and Bruse for almost two years i realised they could be a nice Pair to lead an Equipment based deck, Akiri as the Voltron Damage Dealer and Bruse supporting her.

Most of the synergies are pretty obvious, but there a couple of Neat Moves with Armory Automaton and Sunforger you can cheat the Euipcosts with it and cast more Spells this way.
