Ever since Shadows over Innistrad, I have been wanting to make an EDH deck around the Investigate mechanic. And ever since Commander 2016, I have been wanting to make a Partners EDH deck.

I thought about making a partners with 3 colors, so Roon/Derevi were my first goto dudes. Bant colors really help the investigate mechanic. But I really wanted to include another color in order to take advantage of artifacts. Black with Marionette Master and Red with Pia's Revolution and Reckless Fireweaver . Yes, you are correct, Breya player here, lol.

So I never got around to building an Investigate deck. But as of late, I have been wanting to make partners. And while looking at EDHREC's 4 colors commanders, Akiri and Thrasios. BOOM, ideas starting to flow.

So here is my take on Investigate EDH. Akiri can become unblockable, this hitting like a truck. And Thrasios will provide so much ramp and card draw.

I have not play tested the deck yet as I'm waiting for a couple of cards to arrive.

This is all new and any help will be greatly appreciated.
