Act I: Life(gain) is Awesome!
Scene: A
Scoured Barrens
on Amonkhet. A nice festival.
An
Impassioned Orator
steps forward. "Welcome, opponent! We extend
Ajani's Welcome
to all! I see you've brought your deck! Excellent! Please take a seat, the show is about to begin!
Gods Willing
, they will be unstoppable!"
A
Vampire of the Dire Moon
, acting as festival security, settles down the crowd. Then
Ajani's Pridemate
roars onto stage and starts putting on a big performance! During a brief intermission a
Dusk Legion Zealot
comes by offering goods, after which a
Bloodthirsty Aerialist
appears out of the rafters, and pulling off some huge tricks.
Suddenly, a terrifying nightmare, a
Doom Whisperer
, appears overhead and declares: "In the name of the God-Pharoaoh, life here is over! All life gained shall now be spent."
Act II: Citadel of Doom
(Not every opponent survives to the second act.)
Raise the Alarm
! Creatures are being summoned en-mass out of the aether. Creatures explode onto the stage, life spent and regained over and over! The stars of Act I grow to gargantuan scales, and everything is chaos, overwhelming force appears.
Yet fate (and our opponent) intervene and everything is destroyed.
Act III: Hope Renewed!
Scene: Ruins of the Citadel
(Only the most high powered decks survive to here.)
Everything is in ruins, and bodies lie everywhere. The enemy threatens us yet. Suddenly, there is a
Dawn of Hope
. One by one, come back to rebuild defenses, and search for the answer before we are overcome entirely. Survivors come in to hold the ground at all cost, and an
Angel of Vitality
provides encouragement and support, as behind the lines life is restored to its former glory.
At last,
Ajani, Strength of the Pride
appears on stage and shouts out ! The show is over and you can all go home! The audience leaves, and Ajani's crew mops up the place.
