...

Alright, in all seriousness, I go to an LGS that is COVERED in people who run tier-1 decks that you see all the time and it frustrates me beyond all reasonable doubt. Temur Tower is one of those decks. I mean, B/G counters is probably the most played there, but I see a lot of the same EXACT Temur Tower decks all the freaking time. It bothers me.

SO, I have concocted a mass heaping pile pf turd to combat the netdeckers, and have added my own little twist to it! This is Jund Tower, a midrange-control type of thing, and it runs Dynavolt Tower! Now I know you're probably all "Bruh really, this is gonna be worse than anything in existence. This'll will only be tier-2 at the MOST". You're probably right, BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! I simply want to add my own take on the stupidly one-dimensional standard that is running around. That's all.

Even if we look sucky, we actually have a lot of ways to totally screw people over, of all decktypes! Let me breakdown the mainboard and sideboard for ya!

MAINBOARD

Dynavolt Tower - The star of the deck! Since we're in Jund, we have some really interesting ways to gain a ballsack ton of energy, so the Tower is super useful in snagging that stupid Winding Constrictor, Bristling Hydra, or anything else with 3 or less toughness that's really good that I can't think of right now! It can also be used to remind your opponent of it's prowess by slapping it across the face with a walking fish! (ERROR: REFERENCE NOT FOUND)

Glint-Sleeve Siphoner - Card draw. Enough said. The menace makes this guy a serious early game threat, and in testing has been a huge lightning rod that can get killed off after some card draw to make way for the next baddy...

Bristling Hydra - The "I'm gonna totally REKTIFY YOUR ENTIRE THANG THANG BOIII" card. Our massive surplus of energy makes this guy nearly impossible to kill, and is our main late game beater. Feeling antsy, and your opponent is tapped out? DUMP THAT ENERGY! He's fantastic at what he does.

Winding Constrictor - This guy seems a bit extra here, but has actually been very useful in testing. He gives you an extra energy every time you get some, can really help with counters on your other creatures, and is a HUGE lightning rod. It's really funny when you only play green and black mana, drop this guy, and your opponent just goes "AUGH NOT AGAIN", but then you drop that red mana and then the Tower and then they're like "wAAAAT". It's pretty funny.

Longtusk Cub and Servant of the Conduit - Your obvious green midrange energy deck includes. Servant gives us some necessary mana fixing, and the Cub can get big FAST with our energy outputs. Both work really well here.

Attune with Aether - Mana fixing some more! What's even funnier is playing this with a Tower and the Snake on the field, that's a 1 mana I get a basic land AND SIX FREAKING ENERGY. BANGALANG.

Harnessed Lightning - What, you thought I was gonna play red and NOT include a 4-of of this pretty little thing? You are sorely mistaken.

Unlicensed Disintegration - Tired of of that stupid flying planeswalker loveboat? DISINTEGRATE IT! This card is actually really nice comboed with the Tower. Get some energy, kill a creature, and deal 3 damage? Count me in!

Live Fast - Much needed card draw, and can be really helpful with the energy as well. All around good card for this deck!

Chandra, Flamecaller - I only have it as a one of because it's fun in a late game stale mate and then CHANDRA, SIX DAMAGE, BOOSH. She's probably one of my favorite planeswalkers in standard right now, very versatile for the late game.

Shock - This is a very flexible spot in the mainboard. I simply use it as another spell to trigger the tower and can be used to snag some lowlife thugs on your opponents board. It's usually sided out game 2, so any suggestions to make this spot a little better are greatly appreciated!

SIDEBOARD

Natural State and Appetite for the Unnatural - Your friendly neighborhood artifact and enchantment hate! Stops Mardu Vehicles, other Towers, and several other small nuisances that suck giant donkey balls! Appetite can also whack those stupid Gearhulks, so keep that in mind!

Incendiary Flow - Our counter to B/G Delirium. Exiles doods, and that's nice... dood.

Lost Legacy - Since we don't run white for Authority of the Consuls, we run this sexy little guy for Saheeli combos! It can also grab several other things, and also let's us see what the enemy has sided in. Pretty good card!

Chandra's Pyrohelix - Another flexible spot here. I use the Pyrohelix as I see a lot of weenies in the back of my LGS as well, so this is for them. Feel free to add different things for your own personal taste!

Ruinous Path - This is strictly for planeswalkers, so Saheeli, and literally anything else that has the "Planeswalker" type under their art. I feel like it'll be really useful once Amonkhet shows up and is all "WEEEE I HAVE A NEW GIDEON WEEEEEE".

Yahenni's Expertise - A boardwipe that can cheat out some hilarious stuff. I once used it to wipe a B/G counter guys board, and then cheated out a Disintegration to kill his SUPER buffed Gearhulk for the win. It was hilarious.

Verdurous Gearhulk - Speak of the devil. Useful in late game situations where stalemates occur quite often. It's really useful with the Snake, and can really put a Hydra over the top. It's great.

Welp, that's the deck! If you have any suggestions for improvements, PLEASE drop a comment! I'm taking this tonight, and I'm gonna see how it rolls. If you enjoyed this deck (or the description, I'm cool with that too), then shoot this little dude a thumbs up! Thanks for reading guys!

P.S, I know if you take this deck to an FNM, you will technically be considered a netdecker, which is horribly ironic, but I'll give you a pass on this one. ;)

Updates Add

So I have playtested the crap out of this deck and I've noticed a few things with it. First, if I'm falling behind on a board state, it is very difficult for me to tip the scales and come back from it. That being said, I really hope that a mono black boardwipe is printed AT SOME POINT FOR THE LOVE OF... what is it, the God Pharaoh? Oh whatever, just call him Bolas. Anyways, my way of fixing this and making things easier for me is to add in a few Aethersphere Harvester's. This guy is really easy to crew, especially when you have some left over Servant's that you aren't using at the moment. And with the bonkers insane amount of energy that you get every game, giving it lifelink is basically free. As for what to replace it with, I've decided to drop Longtusk Cub altogether. It's a horrible card to draw into late game (whereas drawing a Harvester late game could literally mean the difference between life and death (and actually WAS that difference in some of my games on Friday)), and it was even underwhelming early game as well. So I dropped the playset for the Harvester's and another copy of Glint-Sleeve Siphoner, which I have learned to be very beneficial and crucial in order to stay alive later in the game.

I also learned that control is a HORRIBLE matchup, so when Amonkhet releases, I will be adding Prowling Serpopard into the sideboard in place of Chandra's Pyrohelix, which sucks major poopoo.

As for FNM results, well, let's just say luck wasn't on my side that night. I went 1-3. But hey! My one win was against the stupid Saheeli combo crap! So it can take out tier 1! Woot! I lost to mono-red, Electro Pummeler, and a mirror match that wasn't running Tower's (because I'm the only one that does that teehee). Ironically, all of these decks that I lost against were NOT tier 1. But this deck is very good against the main top tier decks! Saheeli, you side in Lost Legacy, name the stupid cat, and then Ruinous Path everything else! Then just stomp over them and win! I would mulligan pretty hard for a Legacy if I were you as well. It really made the difference in those matches.

Well guys, thanks for reading! I won't be able to test it some more this weekend because of Amonkhet prereleases, and then I'm probably going back to my roots with mono red aggro, or R/W exert, so it may be a while before I try this deck again. I will continue to playtest it online, so that will be where I will get more of my fixes and changes. Again, thanks for checking out the deck guys! I really think this deck can make it, it just needs a little kick start, so don't give up on it!

TL;DR,

Mainboard

IN: 3 Aethersphere Harvester, 1 Glint-Sleeve Siphoner

OUT: 4 Longtusk Cub

Sideboard

IN: 3 Prowling Serpopard

OUT: 3 Chandra's Pyrohelix
