Sideboard

Trying mill in standard. Since mill is so bad in standard this is mainly a control shell.

Basically cycle and control until you get Startled and/or Fraying with some combo of mill cards. We have a few different venues for that but typically Startled is the game winner.

One of the jankier moves I've learned to play with this deck is recast Startled Awake from the graveyard, cast Baral's Expertise returning the creature and then casting Startled Awake as the free spell. You can also Winds of Rebuke to try and save your Sanity or Nightmare from getting zapped.

More often than not I'll sideboard out all of my creatures because so many people run creature hate and it will just give them dead cards.

Most people will tell you this is not a fun deck - don't let the turkeys get you down.

Made two 3rd place Game Day finishes this weekend. I decided to try and even the field against aggro by putting in some more creatures and harvesters to swing back with life gain. It actually did manage to stabilize me a few games.

Also moved from mono-blue to dimir to get more answers. I've played azorius and esper as well but I left it dimir for budget purposes. This is also why the land base is kind of weird but I never really had problems with not seeing certain color(s).
