2. Exceptionally one land hands are just fine to keep with this deck!

One Drop Creatures

1. Flameblade Adept - Sweet with menace, and it smashes more for each card you discard.

2. Monastery Swiftspear - Grows with prowess

Other Creatures

1. Hollow One - Drop for {0} with Burning Inquiry or Faithless Looting and Street Wraith.

2. Street Wraith - Sweet with cycling.

Come Back

1. Bedlam Reveler - Costs one less for each instant and sorcery card in your graveyard. You'll probably want to discard at least one card just in case your draw Hollow One.

2. Noxious Revival - Handy with all the discard and adds Prowess for 2 life. Usually get Bedlam Reveler to be cast for {R}{R}.

Draw and Discard

1. Burning Inquiry - Lets you cast Hollow One for free, +3 for Flameblade Adept and might make your opponent feel shaky as he/she also discards at random! Also puts instants and sorceries to graveyard to make Bedlam Reveler cheaper.

2. Faithless Looting - Great with Fiery Temper! The flashback is a sweet bonus.

Damage

1. Fiery Temper - Cast for {R} with Faithless Looting, or Burning Inquiry, if you're lucky.

2. Lightning Bolt - Remove a blocker or just hit 'em in the face!

3. Sudden Shock - Sweet as it cannot be countered.

4. Forked Bolt - Can be a 1-for-2!

5. Spite of Mogis - Takes care of bigger creatures. Scry 1 is a nice bonus.

6. Temur Battle Rage - Sweet with Hollow One and Bedlam Reveler as they get trample.

Sideboard

1. Boros Reckoner - You could get a juicy plays with this and Spite of Mogis.

***I think this kind of deck will make a strong emergence in modern. But it'll propably be {R}{W} or {R}{B}, for if nothing else than just to make the sideboard better...
