This is a fast and aggresive deck that combines the powerful synergy of the Undying and Evolve mechanics. It is capable of really explosive starts and has the reach to close games out.
Undying and Evolve have excellent synergy with each other. Each undying creature can trigger evolve multiple times. Combined with
Bioshift
, you can even recur undying creatures multiple times.
One possible start that is insanely explosive is a turn 1 Cloudfin Raptor into turn 2 Young Wolf followed by Rapid Hybridization on the Young Wolf. Properly stacking your triggers will allow you to have a 3/3, a 2/2, and a 3/4 flier all on turn two.
Bioshift
is a card with many uses in this deck. One possible use to it move counters off an evolve creature once they get too big so that they can continue to evolve whenever a creature enters the battle. As mentioned above, it can also save your undying creatures by shifting their counter(s) off them, allowing them to trigger undying again. And finally, it can be used to move counters onto Master Biomancer, making each of your creatures that much more powerful when entering the battlefield.
Simic Charm is also incredibly useful. Each of the three modes are extremely relevent.
Rapid Hybridization also has multiple uses. It is a one-mana removal spell, for one. Also, as mentioned above, it can be used on your own undying creatures in order to both make them stronger and trigger evolve. Oh, and you get a free 3/3 too! Win/win/win.
Master Biomancer is our finisher. With Simic Charm back up, he causes your board to get out of control very quickly.
The mana in this deck is pretty ghetto. I don't have the hundred bucks or more to drop on lands so I just have to make do with what I have.
