My attempt at a Sphinx deck worth playing.

64 cards because why not?

ZERO DROP: Welding Jar, Paradise Mantle, and one Mox Opal

  • Early Board presence, Ramp, and Protection

ONE DROP: Steel Wall, Galvanic Blast

  • More Board Presence, and some Burn

TWO DROP: Remand, Etherium Sculptor, Lightning Greaves, Cranial Plating

  • Some early game Control/Draw, and the first Artifact Creature for cheaper spells

  • Shroud and Haste

  • and some Bolster for later..

THREE DROP: Warden of Evos Isle

  • First Flyer is introduced --> Spells are even cheaper

FOUR DROP: Master Transmuter, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

  • Cheaper spells again, and now the opponent will have a harder time casting too

  • Transmuter is a wonderful way to protect and/or cheat in the more expensive creature spells

"FIVE" DROP: Sphinx Summoner, Thoughtcast

  • These spells will never cost Five to play

  • A Fetch spell that is also a Flyer

  • Some more Draw (two cards) if it is needed

Let me know what you think. This is a really fun deck, but I wonder if it would be competitive enough for Modern. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks for looking!
