Working on a Rakdos EDH deck here. General idea is vastly decrease the cost of my creatures with Rakdos's ability and from there dump eldrazi for really cheap. My wincon is likely to be just raw damage.

Planning on getting some damage prevention canceling and lifegain prevention magic in here soon, and improving my landbase.

In the games I've played with it, if I get Rakdos out early (turn 4 or 5) I can get out really big stuff nice and fast. Doesn't work so well without him because I lack consistent ways to ramp and get enough mana to cast my Eldrazi.

Cheap burn spells like Lightning Bolt and Rift Bolt serve to damage the opponent so I can cast Rakdos, then hit the gas.
