Ramp or Combo? —June 18, 2014

A tough choice in the end between setting up some ramp, or adding another combo piece. I decided on the latter, Teysa combos infinitely with Karmic Guide and Reveillark to exile every creature I can target. In addition, it is a fairly low cost combo, and the chances of me getting out the pieces are fairly high. The Recommendations from this update and the one before it are courtesy of enpc

Angel of Despair , Ashen Rider and Archon of Justice and even Necrotic Sliver are all really good cards. You might even have enough white creatures to run Teysa, Orzhov Scion . Blasting Station is also awesome, especially with Saffi / karmic Guide / Reveilark. Skullclamp will be a really solid draw engine too, along with Fecundity . Also, Phyrexian Arena is well worth the $10 or so. Or you could use Bloodgift Demon as it is a creature too.
Also, you're in black, I would highly suggest tutors. Even if you don't want to splash out for things like Demonic Tutor , Diabolic Tutor , Diabolic Revelation , Increasing Ambition are all cheap to buy.
For lands, High Market and even Miren, the Moaning Well are really solid. And if you want to splash out a bit, Volrath's Stronghold is invaluable as well as things like Phyrexian Tower .
