Well we can all see that the new horse lord is powerful. Now we need a way to take advantage of it. Here are my thoughts. Sacred cat and anointed priest are pretty self explanatory, and work very well together. They have embalm, and the cat has lifelink while the priest makes you gain life when you get a token. Zulaport drains your opponent and gains you life when your creatures die. Yahenni let's you kill your creatures for free at instant speed. Seems pretty good right? Here's where it gets better. Bontu's monument drains them every time you cast a creature. Oketra's monument lets you make more dudes to sac. Trespassers Curse gives you and easy way to drain them on their turn and punishes them for playing creatures. Anointed prosession is pretty self explanatory, it's tokens. But here is my favorite card. Obelisk spider is a new 3 drop 1/4 spider that when it deals combat damage to an opposing creature it places a -1/-1 counter on that creature, then when you place a -1/-1 counter on a creature you drain your opponent, and it has reach. Pretty sick right? Well now we get to the real reason we are trying to gain all of this life, Suncrested Mare. Holy crap-o-la this is a Magic card. Those 5/5 horse tokens are indestructible and provide a great way for this token strategy to close out the game. Let me know your thoughts, I would love to talk about this one!
