This is currently my main deck in MTG Arena. I haven't spent too much money on packs but I've acquired a few fun cards.

The strategy of this deck is to build a wall of low power/high toughness creatures and prevent as much early aggression as possible. Once you've protected yourself, hopefully you've drawn either a Beast Whisperer or a Mentor of the Meek . Then, cast some small creatures to keep up the card advantage. Your end game will be either one of the big creatures ( Zetalpa, Primal Dawn or Ghalta, Primal Hunger .)

I only have a few board wipes but they've been very useful. Kaya's Wrath is the most absolute, and it has the upside of incidental life gain. However, I usually prefer Find / Finality . If I can keep a Beast Whisperer after killing every other creature, I'm usually able to rebuild much more quickly than my opponent. Especially against decks that don't run enough card draw, beast whisperer just does so much work!

Because I rely on a lot of guildgates, this deck can develop slowly. Three guildgates in the opening hand is not an uncommon occurrence. Also, not casting anything until turn three is not uncommon. Once I get enough rare wildcards, the first improvements will be to the manabase.

Aside from manabase, let me know if you have any other suggestions for the deck. I'm pretty new to this standard environment so any help would be much appreciated!
