Crazy Abzan list using a very surprising card. You guessed it, Dubious Challenge. We use this card in order to exile two creatures. One creature being a powerhouse bomb and the other being a way to exile it. This allows gives no value to the opponent, but rewards us later on. The deck makes more sense when you see how it works, so lets get started! We run a playset of Dubious Challenge. This is the core of our deck. We look to play it around turn four or five to maximize our chances of winning. To help get to the Dubious Challenge we play 3 Thraben Inspector. We have very little 2 mana spells so using the clue to dig deeper in our deck is very useful. The Inspector can also block and attack when necessary. Now it's time to get into our combo! As I previously stated, we exile two creatures. One being really strong and the other not so much. With our big baddies we have 2 Aetherwind Basker 2 Noxious Gearhulk 2 Razaketh, the Foulblooded and 2 Demon of Dark Schemes. We look to exile one of these creatures seeing as they are quite strong, especially this early in the game. The other creatures we look to hit are the ones that can exile one of our bigger creatures if our opponent decides to take it. We play a playset of Angel of Sanctions and Fairgrounds Warden. Both of these creatures are able to exile one of our huge creatures in order to get it back later. We look to get the Angel or the Warden killed so the bigger creatures comes onto the battlefield under our control. With Dubious Challenge, our opponent is forced to either give us the bigger creature or let us exile it instead. Both are good options for us. One thing to note is, if they decide to take a creature, it enters the battlefield before ours does, allowing us not to be punished. Some cards to help get rid Warden or Angel are Long Road Home and Grasp of Darkness. While it may seem very strange to Grasp your own creature its reward is well worth it. Killing our creature allows us to get the bigger one, and if you kill the Angel, it can be embalmed later which is so much value. Long Road Home is also a powerhouse, being able to blink a creature and it returns under its owner's control, with a bonus of a +1/+1 counter. We can use this in many ways. We can blink are Angel or Warden to get our big creature while also exiling another creature our opponent controls. We can exile one of our big creatures our opponent took to give it back to us. This card does so much for two mana. To help deal with our opponents creatures we play 3 Stasis Snare 2 Fatal Push and 2 Ob Nixilis Reignited. All of these cards are able to help in many situations. Ob is also useful being able to draw cards as the game progresses. And that is the main parts of the deck only thing left is lands which are pretty simple. Fast lands are key because we want to play Dubious Challenge on turn 4. That being said, we have playsets of Blooming Marsh and Concealed Courtyard. We also play 1 copy of Geier Reach Sanitarium to help draw cards. A playset of Aether Hubs two help filter two what mana we need. It also synergies with Demon of Dark Schemes which is awesome. We play 3 Scattered Groves just in case we need to cycle to find Dubious Challenge. For the rest of the deck 3 Plains 3 Swamps and 2 Forests. I hope this description helped in understanding. This is my first ever deck I've posted on this website and i would love some feedback. Tell me do you like the list or anything you would change. All feedback is appreciated and hope you draw well.
