He looked into the fire with glee, as if it was his to tame and wield.
The basic premise is to get in early damage with 1 drops threats and wrap up the game with the 20 burn spells. It should go without saying that this list is HIGHLY influenced by lists seen at the Magic Origins Pro Tour (in fact I only play 3 different cards in the main deck).
Sideboard
Arc Lightning: A great card in the mirror match as well as against aggro decks. It handily dispatches with tokens and mana dorks, even with it's sorcery speed.
Eidolon of the Great Revel: This card is great against aggro decks and control decks that rely on cheap removal. Even though he will end up dealing damage to us throughout the game, he is too good to pass on.
Hall of Triumph
: Another great card against the mirror match or other small aggro decks. It's synergy combined with the token and dash cards over the course of the game makes your army stronger as well and wide.
Outpost Siege
: The ideal card to play against control and midrange decks. If they are about removing or blocking your creatures, you are going to want to have more cards to cast each turn. The Dragon's ability can't be ignored either. It is very handy when you have committed your hand to the board, and you could block and die to deal the final points of life to your opponent.
Roast
: This comes in handy against midrange and monster decks of the non-Dragon variety. Having all 4 against Abzan and Sultai midrange is a must.
