Many of the new cards from kaladesh and aether revolt show their synergies with some older ones! This decks strength is the possibility to attack from several angles - with big (and sometimes evasive) one-hit creatures, with a swarm of tokens or even dealing loads of damage without attacking the opponent. Most of the times it will be a combination of the several sources that wins the game.

The backbone of the deck are Reckless Fireweaver and Salivating Gremlins. If unchecked especially the latter can easily run over for 12 trample damage as soon as turn 4. Even if the gremlins die in this attack, it is often worth it to send them in anyways. for the fireweaver there are only 26 of 60 cards in the deck that are non-artifact or non-artifact-producing spells. that means over 50% of the deck trigger the pings of the fireweaver.

Great turns with heavy triggering on both are enabled by artifact-lands + double artifact-generators like Cogworker's Puzzleknot or Origin Spellbomb . The spellbombs also help with drawing into more action. Aether Chaser is an incredible useful attacker - pauper is a format where lots of creatures have problems with dealing with a first-striker. the chaser also produces artifact-tokens, which again trigger the gremlins and weavers.

if you dont draw into the two main-attractions or they get removed too soon, there is still a very solid plan B: Rally the Peasants works obviously nice with all the servos and myrs.

Countless Gears Renegade is a very nice addition because its easy to trigger revolt with Cogworker's Puzzleknot , Origin Spellbomb , clue-tokens of Thraben Inspector or Expose Evil and Renegade Map.

With Galvanic Blast and Journey to Nowhere the deck has access to some of the best removal in the format. The reach on blast is of course also nice and from time to time decisive.

Sanctum Gargoyle does two things: it gives you a reasonable big flyer anderen gets you back an artifact - another 2 for 1. Expose Evil gives another (expensive) cycling effect with an artifact-trigger on top and can help get you the last points of damage through by removing a blocker. Bonesplitter is a great card, gives more triggers and helps pushing through the last damage or making attacks akward for your opponent.

The mana works with a minmimum of tap-lands - the tempo-gain is kind of important for such a small creature strategy in my eyes. 18 lands and 2 Renegade Maps seems fine - map over Evolving Wilds or Ash Barrens because its an artifact -> triggers!
