"A Thrax to Grind" v 0.2 Zombie combo/control.

v 0.2: Removed the curses.

A highly experimental design that I thought of while looking at all my spare zombie cards, especially after decommissioning my old Thraximundar deck in favor of Nekusar, the Mindrazer. It took me a while to decide whether I wanted to go Voltron with Thraximundar or something else, but I figured it wasn't that ideal to have a 7-CMC Voltron general, so I decided to put together a combo deck.

The kill combos in this deck rely on massive amounts of zombie tokens hitting the board. They're not exactly infinite, but there is a possibility of recursive loops somewhere. Even then, there is no guarantee that they will be infinite. I also didn't list this deck as a mill deck since I don't really find it a fun strategy, nor is it a core strategy in the deck. There is also a bit of a suicide element to the deck due to one of the centerpieces: Carnival of Souls. Key combos: Army of the Damned + Carnival of Souls + Purphoros, God of the Forge Army of the Damned + Carnival of Souls + Exsanguinate Mindcrank + Purphoros, God of the Forge + Undead Alchemist Warning: Carnival of Souls can quickly kill you if your opponent runs a token swarm deck too. Use with caution and only cast when within kill range. It is NOT mana ramp!

The card advantage package is very important as it helps you get to the combo pieces as quickly as possible. Cards like Demonic Collusion and Unfulfilled Desires allow you to pitch flashback effects and reanimation fodder while getting to the cards you need.

The control package is very important as it allows you to stall while setting up. The Curses are part of the control package and allow political plays while setting up your key combos. Thraximundar is part of this: He can be cast in order to assassinate a threatening creature. He can also Voltron if you really need him to kill someone, but this deck is can win without casting the commander.
