Maybeboard

This is the most recent version of my previous Freyalise deck. The changes were so significant that it was easier for me to just make a new decklist.

This deck has two major routes to victory:

Swarm: I imagine most of you are familiar with this gameplan. Summon a horde of elves and turn them sideways. There are various lords and buffs to help to this end, but the major ones are Eldrazi Monument and Triumph of the Hordes. With enough power on the board, Triumph is basically an auto-kill on at lest one opponent, and can often win you the game if played at the right time. Monument gives a lot of evasion and power to your horde of weenies, and can make clearing or killing your stuff very problematic for opponents.

Combo-Wombo: This is where things get complicated. This deck has a lot of variations on the same idea; make infinite mana, then use that to murder your opponents. Some ways to do this;

Paradox engine + Wurmcalling + at least 5 mana of dorks.

Any of the multi-mana elves (mana count 4) + Umbral Mantle

Any of the multi-mana elves (mana count 5) + Staff of domination

Once you have infinite mana, then this can lead into a lot of payoffs. Staff of Domination gives you infinite life, Staff of Nin + Paradox Engine does infinite poke, Aetherflux Reservoir or Wellwisher can give infinite life, and Planar Portal/Bridge give tutoring. Concordant Crossroads lets your infinite wurms attack.

If you want to close out the game, then drawing into your win conditions is very important, and so this deck has lots of card draw and cycling to get the ball rolling. Even without infinite mana, Planar Bridge/Portal can be very useful for making your victory inevitable.

Pros: This is one of my favorite decks to play, because it has multiple routes to victory and takes some planning and thought (and occasionally a bit of math). It offers a lot of powerful tools to you, and green cards and colorless cards together can do a lot of things (like board clear and spot removal). It's complicated, but not irresponsibly so.

Cons: This deck punishes those that don't interact with it, but as a counterpoint, it can have trouble if focused very hard. You need to use a bit of politics and a bit of restraint to avoid drawing attention to yourself. Cards like Mana Reflection and Staff of Domination draw a lot of attention to themselves, and this deck relies on them to get things done.

There are some tools and redundancy to recover from board wipes and critical resources being destroyed, but this deck can only bounce back so much.

This is currently my pet deck, so I'm always looking for advice and feedback to improve it: comments are welcome!
