B/G Combo

This deck is designed to ramp as quickly as possible into its win condition, preferably tutoring and winning in the same turn. In a multiplayer game, when the deck combos out every player at the table will lose at the same time. The Combo is also very resilient, only falling over to spells with split second.

Meta

I'm sure many of you know of Epochalyptik and his Dominus - Dreamcrusher Edition. I've tested with him a lot over the past 6 months, almost exclusively 1-v-1, and I've tuned this deck to stand a chance against him. I'm looking for suggestions in order to make this deck on par with Dominus - Dreamcrusher Edition and win more games. I have actually won games against Epochalyptik's deck (not many mind you, but some) so I'm looking to make this better and win more.

History

When Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord was spoiled I instantly knew I would build an EDH deck around him and he has been really fun to play. This deck is designed to be played in a competitive format even though EDH is considered casual.

The first few turns are devoted solely to ramp until you have enough mana to start the combo. The next couple turns are spent disrupting your opponents while moving toward your combo pieces.

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord himself is a very color saturated general and the combo pieces he needs are pretty expensive, although the win condition is a 2 card combo. In order to win in the same turn, I need 13 mana.

The reason Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is so powerful is he can nuke the entire board to win a game using the combo. He can also recur big creatures to wear down the table over the course of one or two turns.

The Combo:
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Phyrexian Devourer Trust me, this does work. You exile cards from your library until Phyrexian Devourer's power goes above 7, at this point his bury trigger will go on the stack. The trick is you constantly respond to the bury trigger until his power is high enough to nuke the board, then you use Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's ability to win. Phyrexian Devourer's bury trigger only triggers once, the first time the power is greater than 7, so you are free to pump him up as long as the trigger never resolves.
