WHACK! (Modern MTG Deck)

That's the spirit driving every goblin, especially the proud few given the great honor: wielding a Goblin Grenade in the heat of battle! These goblins go wide, and one of them gets tall in a hurry Goblin Piledriver. The whole goal of the deck is to win as quickly as possible, whether on the board or finishing them off with burn.

This is the deck I use for FNM Modern. It is my take on 8-whack, though I'm not entirely sold on running 4 copies of Reckless Bushwhacker , it's great when you have the right set up but not great if you can't surge it. Also, it's kind of more like 12-whack since Atarka's Command gives the team a buff, while it doesn't have a body to go with it, it does give a basically guaranteed 3 damage.

The Mogg Fanatics are in there to have some additional interaction for the deck. The goal is to get 4 copies of Goblin Guide. I'll figure out what they're replacing when we get there.

Last Friday the deck performed well once again. Beat RG tron 2-0 in the first round, then ad nauseum 2-1 in the second. Lost 1-2 to affinity but on a total misplay from me where I miscounted lethal and would have had it on the Foundry Street Denizen trigger if I had just played my stinking one-drop! Won the last round 2-1 against UR storm.

This is probably where the deck gets retired. I've finally become a decent pilot of it and it's putting up numbers for me, but I've slowly been acquiring the pieces for naya/bushwhacker zoo and will probably have everything before I get to play modern again.
