Captain Sisay - A Gathering of Champions

Game Plan

Mulligan aggressively for a fast hand that can achieve at least a turn 3 Sisay (turn 2 or earlier is ideal). Use Sisay to get out appropriate silver bullets and then either lock down the game or win via combo. Now we can't play 1x Paradox Engine (MPS) F combo and Iona, Shield of Emeria anymore, the deck has a few other lines and the combo options are more complicated and less effective.

Old Wincons that survived the bannings

• Living Plane + either Linvala, Keeper of Silence or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to lock down or kill everyones lands
• Strip Mine + Ramunap Excavator + Azusa, Lost but Seeking

I'm currently trying out a few new plays: - Gisela, the Broken Blade + Bruna, the Fading Light + Gaddock Teeg - Karn, the Great Creator + Mycosynth Lattice

New infinite mana lines: - Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Seedcradle Witch - Marywn, the Nurturer + Umbral Mantle

Those are the two main lines, but there are other ways:

Creatures that can enable infinite mana: Selvala, Heart of the Wilds Marwyn, the Nurturer Voyaging Satyr (with Gaea's Cradle ) Priest of Titania

Untap effects: Umbral Mantle Staff of Domination * Seedcradle Witch (only with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds )

I don't run Sword of the Paruns because in my option its too mana intensive and I have enough things going on in the deck - I can only invest so many slots for this line of play. I don't run Karametra's Acolyte and Elvish Archdruid because I don't want to run multiple dorks that cost 3+ mana and can't also tap for white.

At the moment I'm also not running Mirror Entity + Wirewood Symbiote because both parts are non-legendary and they don't feel relevant enough outside of the combo. Sure they would enable a Yisan line of Wirewood Symbiote into Priest of Titania into Mirror Entity , but I can already go Seedcradle Witch into Scryb Ranger into Selvala, Heart of the Wilds or Quirion Ranger into Stoneforge Mystic (for Umbral Mantle ) into Selvala or Marwyn.

This list is currently mostly aimed at 1v1 with the multiplayer banlist, as thats what tournaments usually run with locally.

I play this deck in paper EDH tournaments, but I don't have a competitive playgroup to test it on (my normal playgroup would probably quit the game if I set this loose on them!). Any deckbuilding advice would be much appreciated.
