So, anybody who looks at my decks will realize that I have gotten a little bored of winning through combat damage. Sure, I have built some really fun combat-focused decks (Gisela will always be my first love as a commander), but as a Johnny player through and through, I felt the need to explore some other options. That realization came really clearly for me when I built a completely broken Narset, Enlightened Master Voltron for less than $5. Again, theres not an ounce of Spike in me -- Id rather lose any game as long as it is a game where both decks perform to their best.

This deck is my attempt to 1) redeem the name of Narset from most hated multiplayer commander, and 2) have a ton of fun piloting Narset, without caring about who gets the W in the end.

This is a chaos/group hug deck. It fuels crazy interactions, multiple triggers, and generally leads to a board state where nobody has control of any of their own creatures, everybody is casting 3 free spells for every one costed spell, and eventually even the most serious player will start giggling at the absurdity. Narset swings in only to accelerate all the 6-mana group-huggy artifacts and enchantments, and topdeck manipulation like Crystal Ball help us hit a solid 4.

Lots of card draw/group hug helps to keep the whole table happy, since this deck is meant to be a fun last game -- we dont want any shattered psyches after a game with Narset. We also have light aikido elements in order to stay alive long enough to actually get some chaos going.

There are a couple of mean cards to keep ETB effects or card draw from getting out of hand, but Im not trying to nuke somebodys board or ruin any nights. However, there are a couple of win conditions just in case the game starts dragging on. Mob Rule and Soulblast are two of them, and Shu Yun tends to make my board pretty dangerous.

I hope this is at least one of the top 3 Narset decks youve ever seen! Id love feedback of any kind to make this deck more consistent(ly fun). Cheers, and thanks for reading!
