So the Idea of the deck is more akin to Legacy pox then it is 8rack. Take control of resources be it hand or land then slowly bleed your opponent dry.

Some of the ways you can do this are reusable land destruction with Crucible of worlds, Ghost Quarter and Wasteland in conjunction the plethora of other land destruction cards. There is also the contamination lock for those fancy non-black decks. Bitterblossom and Nether Spirit are a great way to continually lock your opponent out of any colour of mana other then black.

The casting of Maralen of the Mornsong is a weird thing. Usually you don't cast her on curve as your opponent gets the first tutor, but she is great at enabling a few of the decks hard locks. She can also help to accelerate your opponents demise on-top of rack damage.
