My tiny leaders deck is pretty much a combination of legacy and modern burn with elemental tribal thrown in for value.I chose this commander because it deals with two of the main problems of mono red; flooding out or going hellbent. Ashling the Pilgrim's mana sink can be used to make a over powering commander that can attack for decent chunks of damage, or when necessary her ability can be any thing from a Lightning Bolt to a Lava Axe. The Versatility of Ashling the Pilgram allows you to always have something to do with your mana.
