SYNERGIES

Much of the effect is achieved through combat damage from specter creatures, as that is what the commander is. There is quite a lot of redundancy for this in the creature base. Examples include: Hypnotic Specter

Since the creatures really revolve around dealing combat damage, I included some equipment to facilitate and enhance that theme. Doublestrike equipment like Fireshrieker allow for double the triggers, and other equipment like Sword of the Animist provide extra benefits.

The final piece is the discard synergies. Megrim and Geth's Grimoire are some good examples. The former helps finish off your opponents, and the latter helps you with card advantage.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

This deck is limited in the way that all combat-based decks are, and that is that it sometimes has trouble getting through and mass removal is an issue. However, the deck does have the ability to remove some of your opponents answers that they may have in their hand, so that is a plus. Playing the deck in a way that you only really draw the hate of one player seems to be the best way to play this deck.

THOUGHTS ON THE CARDS THEMSELVES

- Helm of the Host is questionable. -Considering curses as a potential option for better flavor.

This deck is part of a quest I have where I go through every legendary creature, starting from least expensive to most, and theory-craft an interesting and fun commander deck for them in a semi- budget setting.
