7ph Grixis Green [Budget]

Vintage*

ValeMtG

Sideboard

Australian 7 point highlander deck, a green splash on a classic. Current points are Force of Will[+], Jace, the Mind Sculptor[+], Snapcaster Mage[+], Mind Twist[+], Dig Through Time[++] and Mana Drain[+]. A full embrace of greed creep, this list aims to utilize the strength of some of green's finest cards at the expense of making the mana so much worse. In reality, there isn't a reason to put green into this deck to try and make it better, it's already the best performing deck of 2017 and remains a bogeyman after the increase on Treasure Cruise. The reason you're splashing green into the list is because Abrupt Decay and Maelstrom Pulse are strong answers, Deathrite Shaman is an amazing card all around, and having Dack Fayden + Leovold, Emissary of Trest in play is the best feeling in magic. The sideboard options opened up by adding green aren't to be scoffed at, but the addition of a fourth colour is by no means going to make the deck more consistently powerful than the already oppressive grixis Kess piles.
