So this absurd idea came into my head to take my old standard Molten Vortex deck and convert it into a commander deck (the standard version was 20xIsland, 20xMountain,8xR/U dual lands, 4 Molten Vortex, 4Treasure Cruise, 4 Day's Undoing for reference).

Now as you may guess, Molten Vortex would cost way too much red mana to effectively do anything in commander, especially with only having one in the deck so I decided to make quite possibly the stupidest glass cannon combo deck ever. Actually, not even a glass cannon, this is a Styrofoam cannon. That said, winning with Seismic Assault in a multiplayer format where people start at 40 life demands some abnormal deck building and this deck can definitely win, even as early as turn two with a good hand and if no one is paying attention or if no one has a counterspell to stop it. Just draw your whole library and discard lands until everyone dies. And it is glorious when it works.

How to pilot this deck:

Step 1: Mulligan into a hand with a tutor in it.

Step 2: Cast tutor, get Ad Nauseam

Step 3: Cast Ad Nauseam

Step 4: Draw entire Library, use fast mana rocks to play Seismic Assault

Step 5: ???

Step 6: Profit

Notes:

Ad Nauseam has been averaging about 30 damage to me to draw the whole library. Varies based on how many tutors I burn through setting up the combo. Victory with this depends on how much damage you take up to that point but until someone figures out what you are doing, it is easy to claim you just flooded out and can't stop drawing lands so people will (theoretically) leave you alone. Hell, I just revealed my hand that had a Muddle the Mixture and 6 lands and everyone ignored me. Also not sure about the Ancient Tomb/City of Brass/any other land that can kill you cards yet. Going to test it out some more at my lgs this week and adjust it based on the results.
