Similar to $5 Outlast Counters, this budget deck is built around counters and keyword abilities. On curve, play Servant of the Scale, Aquastrand Spider, Tuskguard Captain, and Mer-Ek Nightblade. Then drop a Ridgescale Tusker on turn 5 and all your other creatures have counters, trample, deathtouch, and access to reach. Putrefy gives removal, Inspiring Call provides card draw, and Rishkar, Peema Renegade/Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter add ramp. The final key to the deck is Winding Constrictor, which goes well with your ramp pieces. For example, play a Servant of the Scale into a Winding Constrictor into a Rishkar, Peema Renegade and you've got several big creatures with the ability to tap for up to seven mana on turn 4. Winding Constrictor also obviously goes well with Pollenbright Druid, Cytoplast Root-Kin and Biogenic Upgrade - target Cytoplast with Biogenic even once with a Constrictor down and it turns into a 13/13 monster. Lots of fun synergies here.
