New 5 colour EDH deck I'm working on using Relentless Rats. I've wanted to do a 5 colour deck for a while now and wanted to something a little different from the norm. What you see before you now is that idea.

While most Relentless Rats Commander decks that I have seen use Marrow-Gnawer as their commander, I've decided to go with Karona, False God. This allows me to stick to my Rat tribal theme (due to her buffing the tribe of my choice when she attacks), while also allowing me access to all 5 colours of mana, something not usually seen in Relentless Rats decks.

Some cards I'm particularly looking forward to playing with, with a horde of Relentless Rats,that aren't in monoblack;

Craterhoof Behemoth: Craterhoof ends games. There isn't much more to say. Load up on rats, Craterhoof provides an even bigger buff and Trample. GG.

Distant Melody: Excellent drawing potential in a tribal based deck.

Immortal Servitude: Having a huge mass of high power rats will eventually make my opponents clear the board of them. Being able to bring all my Relentless Rats back in one single spell makes this card amazing.

Roar of the Crowd: Allows me to simply dome Pillow fort based decks out of the game while my Rats work on my other opponents. A good late game combo with Immortal Servitude.

Sphinx of the Chimes: Something very difficult to play in EDH for obvious reasons, but I relish the challenge. Allows me to discard rats to draw cards and then repeat until I can find Immortal Servitude or Crypt of Agadeem for huge amounts of mana.

Triumph of the Hordes: Very suitable name for a horde based deck. Similar to Craterhoof Behemoth, it should allow me to close out a game with massive amounts of Trample Infect damage.
