For the longest time, i felt that goblin EDH was the only way to build mono red. And then M15 was released.

Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient+Gilded Lotus+Voltaic Key = Infinite mana and artifact untaps. combine with Tower of Fortunes to dig for an X damage spell for a kill as early as turn 4.
