This deck has yet to hit the table and is entirely theoretical. I do occasionally playtest it using Cockatrice. Recent changes to the deck have made analysis of most cards challenging.

EDIT - C16 was announced to have 4 colors recently. If they end up not reprinting the nephilims as legendary creatures I will end up taking the deck down, sadly. So here's hoping!

Card Notes and Reasonings Show

Akroma's Memorial: Lots of nice things on the sand.

Altar of Bone: I have sac fodder, may as well have some creatures.

Ashnod's Altar: I have sac fodder, may as well have some mana

Attrition: I have sac fodder, may as well have some removal

Aura Shards: I keep bringing in creatures, allowing me to destroy all of my opponent's artifacts.

Avenger of Zendikar: More land-based token generation

Beastmaster Ascension: Turn my baby sand guys into mountains

Black Sun's Zenith: Really nice board wipe

Bloodspore Thrinax: Makes all of the new tokens into massive nonsense.

Cathars' Crusade: Makes making creatures a wincon.

Champion of Lambholt: Making creatures buffs her to the point of making Dune-Brood unblockable.

Chord of Calling: I have TONS of tokens, I'll use them to get a nice creature.

Chromatic Lantern: Mana ramp as well as fix

Craterhoof Behemoth: "I win" Button

Dauntless Escort: Board wipe prevention.

Dauthi Embrace: Get Dune-Brood through into the heart of mine enemy.

Demonic Tutor: Good tutor.

Diabolic Intent: I already have sac fodder, so it's another demonic tutor.

Dictate of Erebos: I'm sacrificing quite a bit. May as well make it a board wipe as well.

Duneblast : Board wipe with some flavor.

Earthcraft: Nonsense ramp with a usage for my tokens

Eldrazi Monument: Buffs tokens and makes Dune-Brood that much harder to block.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite: Buff tokens and toss a bunch of opponent's stuff under the bus.

Expedition Map: Nice ramp.

Fecundity: My guys are going to die, I want cards in my hand.

Frontline Medic : Protection and possible Epic Experiment counter.

Garruk Wildspeaker: Does actually everything this deck wants.

Glare of Subdual : Get Dune-Brood through and just mess with opponents.

Glaring Spotlight: "Now I can target your things!" also gets Dune-Brood and the gang through.

Joiner Adept: Mana Fixing.

Lightning Greaves: Haste, also protection.

Martyr's Cause : Never ever take damage from that stupid 1000/1000 Serra Avatar.

Mind Slash : Just nonsense amounts of control.

Mirari's Wake: Ramp and nice buff.

Mirror Entity: Turn all of my things into 7/7's? Absolutely.

Mycoloth: Nonsense amounts of token spawning.

Oracle of Mul Daya: Ramp. 'nuff said.

Order/Chaos : Either toss the above mentioned Serra Avatar or get Dune Brood through.

Parallel Evolution: Double your tokens. Really nice.

Parallel Lives: Get 2 sand per land.

Path to Exile: Nice removal.

Perilous Forays: Ramp that abuses my tokens. when the don't block Dune-Brood, sacrifice all of that old sand to increase token production by a ton.

Phyrexian Arena: Nice card draw.

Primal Growth: Ramp on a grave.

Purphoros, God of the Forge: Poke for tokens.

Ready / Willing: Protection and nonsense ability combo.

Savage Beating: Double strike for 2 Combats.

Shamanic Revelation: Draw cards per token.

Showstopper : Kill everything even harder.

Skullclamp: Draw by killing sand.

Smothering Abomination: Draw by killing sand.

Sprout Swarm: Exponentially growing token collection.

Swirling Sandstorm : Flavor board wipe.

Swords to Plowshares: Nice Removal.

Terminate: Nice Removal.

Thromok the Insatiable : Actual exponential growth.

Trailblazer's Boots: Nonbasic land walk. 'nuff said.

Vampiric Tutor: Nice tutor.

Vandalblast: Get rid of all of those obnoxious artifacts.

Victimize: Get my guys back from the yard.
