Well I love this deck because my first tournament at my LGS and I won it all.
Round 1: 2-1 against Jund Midrange
This was super weird because Game 1 I beat him so fast with Gideon and Heart of Kiran I had no idea what to side in. I ended up siding in the Duresses because he had played a Yahennis Expertise on me. In game 2, they turned out to be terrible because it turned out that the Expertise and Vraska and Fatal Push were the only noncreature cards in there. He dropped a couple of Ripjaw Raptors and a Vraska and I knew I was done after that. Game 3 went by smoothly, drawing into 3 Motorists for insane topdeck blues and curving into a Gideon and a Motorist and Scrapheap on turn 4.
Round 2: 2-1 Against Esper Approach
Well, this turned out to be my brother lol, who has a great Esper Approach deck except the fact that he hasnt been able to acquire Settle the Wreakages yet, so winning game 1 and game 3 were fairly easy but he turned out to have a turn 7 win by flipping a Search for Azcanta
Flip, turn 6 playing an Approach of the Second Sun, and turn 7 playing a second Approach. By this Mardu deck was too fast for my brother, and I ended up beating him. (and he got pissed at me afterward lol)
Round 3: 2-0 against Esper Approach
Well, I faced a complete Esper Approach this game (unlike my brothers incomplete deck), but because no one knew what I was playing, he was surprised with my deck and i easily took game 1. Game 2 he got super land flooded and I took that game with ease.
Round 4: 2-0 against Sultai Midrange
This round was weird because I knew exactly what he was playing and he knew exactly what I was playing. Game 1 we have a pretty even match but when I dropped a Heart of Kiran and swung 4 in the air every turn, he conceded. Game 2 was super close where he had a carnage tyrant and a ripjaw raptor and swung for 13, luckily i topdecked a Motorist and crewed a HoK and animated Gideon and swung with those and a Scrapheap, dealing 12 damage back and killing him with a Lightning Strike to the face.
Overall, I love getting back to this deck as I quit it back in Amonkhet Standard and it dominated my LGS for an amazing win.
