Mono-Green Elves

Highlander

GUIDuck

This isn't an ideal build, but if you're looking to invest in Elves for Highlander, this is probably where I'd start. Elves is a weird deck in that it badly imitates several other decks and can follow a bunch of different strategies. Knowing which plan you're on (and which one you want to be on) in each game you play is important.

Elves mode: combo out a bunch of elves off of Glimpse, Skullclamp repeated castings of Visionary, etc. This is not super reliable to set up in this version as we are more focused on aggression, but you can sometimes go infinite off of a Regal Force to just win. In general, it's ok to just get value out of this to set up an aggro or ramp win.

Fish mode: play a bunch of elves and lords to aggro them out. Winter Orb and Tangle Wire should allow us to develop our board faster than most of our opponents, and build up the critical mass we need. We have explosiveness that many other decks cannot compete with, if we get our engine going.

Cradlehoof: use one of your many tutors and your infinite mana to cheat out either a Hoof or Primeval Titan -> Marit Lage. This is sort of an "Oops, I win" that will steal lots of games, especially given the number of cards we get to see.
