August 31st, 2020: Boros is my favorite 2-color combo in the game, but I never actually owned a deck within that combination. Anax and Cymede might not look like much, but the Heroic mechanic is a powerful ability that stomped Theros standard during its time. This unlikely pair leads a pack of Human creatures into combat with double-strike, first strike, +1/+1 counters, indestructible, and more. This deck is easy to pick up but should be a challenge to optimize. Heavily centered around combat, you become the tactician as you navigate your creature's way to victory. Boros to its core.
