This Esper Death's Shadow deck list is viable however, the tougher matchups do tend to be Affinity and Burn. Affinity tends to spew the board with insane amounts of threats and keeps this deck from stabilizing. Lingering Souls is your best friend against that deck until they land a Master of Etherium, Steel Overseer or Etched Champion. Burn you have to play as Conservative as possible knowing that a simple burn spell can be defeat. Tron is a great match up for this deck. Any time you play against tron, you MUST always keep a hand with discard to strip away Chalice of the Void. The moment Tron lands that Chalice of the Void, you better hope you have Anguished Unmaking in that opening hand. If you don't it's almost impossible to win against that deck. Any deck that runs Blood Moon is a problem unless you float the mana to cast Anguished Unmaking to get rid of it once it resolves. It does take away your access to Path to Exile, Angel's Grace and Ranger of Eos for those grindy match-ups.
