This is a really fun white/red burn deck that operates off the very basic principle of "dealing damage," with the added twist that "you should not die yourself, if possible." Soulfire Grand Master is a surprisingly effective two-drop that turns Blazing Volley and Mizzium Mortars into, frankly, an ass-ton of extra life, and Deflecting Palm goes from a slightly better, more expensive Pay No Heed into a potential game-saver. The creatures in the deck are mostly quite cheap, high-value and reasonably expendable, with Healer's Hawk and Monastery Swiftspear making excellent early game options. Lone Rider   is incredibly easy to trigger in this deck, even without Soulfire Grand Master , and Electrostatic Field is another efficient two-drop that takes red mana and buffs the burn spells. Resplendent Angel can turn into a win-con really quickly, and Divine Arrow can burn creatures without taking red mana that might be useful. Chaplain's Blessing , Blessed Alliance , and Revitalize are a good variety of more life sources that can transform Lone Rider   and trigger Resplendent Angel in the absence of Soulfire Grand Master . Bonecrusher Giant is a versatile three-drop that you can usually afford in the midgame if you need a bigger guy or two points of extra burn. Titan's Strength is a nice Prowess trigger that can also turn Healer's Hawk into a fat chunk of lifelink damage on turn 2, or let Lone Rider   transform itself.

In the sideboard, Angel of Grace and Archangel Avacyn   are expensive late-game winners that combo nicely with Resplendent Angel , and there's two more Blazing Volley s for those 1/1 token decks and faster AoE damage. Boros Charm is a useful splash for a little more control, and Firesong and Sunspeaker can certainly turn it around late-game (though if you're not already winning by the time you can afford a 6-drop on 18 lands with no ramp, two or three burn/gain spells might be a better investment). I would have felt bad leaving the minotaurs out altogether, given how nicely they synergize with this build and just because they're an exciting new card in general, but they're slow enough to belong better in the sideboard. Hazoret the Fervent is free to attack really frequently in a deck like this, and is useful if you need some extra power that beats removal. There's more Deflecting Palm s here if a defensive strategy seems best and a four-of Wear / Tear for artifact/enchantment heavy opponents.

This is the first Pioneer deck I've ever built, so I'd really love some feedback! I'm looking to build something competitive without being too hard on my wallet or losing sight of fun.

Updates Add

Upon finding out that Lightning Helix is in fact illegal in Pioneer, I bumped Lone Rider  Flip up to a four-of, added another Revitalize, and changed Titan's Strength to a four-of as well.
