More Lands —Feb. 17, 2020
IN: 2 Forest
OUT: Traproot Kami, Nessian Asp
Cutting some of the alternate game-plan cards for more lands. Traproot Kami is a pet card of mine, and unless I was losing badly to a big flier, just topdecking a land is typically better, since each land is effectively a Larger Than Life for my commander.
Part of the reason this deck has so many cards for alternate ways of winning or defense is that I would occasionally fight full-powered non-pauper EDH with it (and sometimes win). Now that it's more geared towards fighting other pauper decks, it's better to have some removal for problem creatures and enchantments rather than big creatures of it's own.
