Sideboard

This deck uses the controlling aspects of white and blue mana to hold down our opponents while our black mana makes them slowly bleed to death. The deck runs by locking down enemy creatures with painful control like Pillory of the Sleepless , Stab Wound , Contaminated Bond , and Blind Obedience. These enchantments help cripple the combat ability of your opponent, while slowly dealing damage as the turns go by. To compliment this defensive play style, we have cards like Paradox Haze to make the clock tick faster, and Grim Guardian , to give us a blocking body that helps us do more damage. Copy Enchantment is simply too versatile in this deck to ignore, either controlling the board more by copying Pillory of the Sleepless , Stab Wound , etc etc... or by giving us defense as a copy of Grim Guardian .

This deck revolves around using your opponent's creatures against them, so obviously things get a little iffy against decks that either run few creatures or run very fast creatures. Against decks like token spam, infect, and zoo, Ghostly Prison,Vapor Snag and Grim Guardian try to buy us some time. Kambal, Consul of Allocation and Blind Obedience also come in handy here, giving us some lifegain to keep us alive and healthy.

In the sideboard, we have some cards to help us against spell heavy or creature-less decks, such as burn, mill, or storm. Sleeper Agent gives us a target for our enchantments, but should only be cast when you have the mana and resources ready to pacify it. Leyline of Sanctity, Wheel of Sun and Moon, and Elixir of Immortality give us ways to survive various threats such as burn and mill, and Kambal, Consul of Allocation lets us tax our opponents and slow down their strategy.

I hope you guys enjoy the idea of this deck and playtest it, any comments and suggestions would be welcome, blue is not a typical color for me to build in. If you guys have fun, then let me know and toss me a +1, Thanks!

This deck used to be in mardu colors, utilizing Curse of the Pierced Heart, but I opted to drop red for blue for the versatility of Copy Enchantment and Paradox Haze
