A Kind of Budget Standard Aetherworks Marvel + Paradox Engine Deck listed by Saffron Olive shown over at MTGoldfish at this link:https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/budget-magic-89-35-tix-marvelous-paradox-standard.

So how the deck works is to try to get as many activations of Aetherworks Marvel in one turn as possible. This card is extremely powerful. It is good even with one activation a turn but what if you could activate it say, 8 to 10 times? Then it would be insane. And that is just what this deck sets out to do.

When you tap Aetherworks Marvel you get to look at your top six cards in your library then cast any one of them for free. Then you put the rest on the bottom of your library in random order. It does not matter what the casting cost of the card is. Then you pair it with Paradox Engine and then this lets you immediately untap your Aetherworks Marvel as soon as you cast the spell for free with it. If you had more energy, you could then do it all over again. And that is the combo of the deck. 2 Cards and hopefully enough good stuff to be cast in the deck that you can win a game.

Now the hard part. Getting enough energy to activate the Aetherworks Marvel over and over again. But what if when you activate your Aetherworks Marvel and look at your top 6 cards you find a copy of Aethertide Whale? When it comes into play you get 6 energy! Play this card with your Aetherworks Marvel and you just get refunded the energy you spent to tap it. And then with Paradox Engine on the table you get to untap the marvel for casting the whale. So now you have 6 more energy and the marvel untapped and a 6/4 flying whale in play! So you can spend the 6 new energy and maybe get another whale to do it all over again! But if you don't find a whale, maybe you will find a Peema Aether-Seer! If you get one of these when you already have a whale out it will get you back 6 energy as well when it comes into play. Do you see where this is going? if you find a whale or an aether-seer every time you activate your marvel you could just keep going on and on with activations. Then, even better, you have Aetherwind Basker. When this guy is on the table, and you cast a Peema Aether-Seer you can get even more energy. Because right before you cast your seer, you pump any extra energy you have into the basker and jack it's power through the roof. Then you cast your seer and you get a huge amount of energy that will let you keep activating your marvel. And that is a solid bunch of cards that will get you enough energy to keep using your marvel. But there is more. Because Saheeli's Artistry canbe played with the Aetherworks Marvel as well! So if you have one of your big energy creatures in play you copy it with Saheeli's Artistry and at the same time copy any artifact you have out. Preferably one of the puzzleknots that get you energy. Then if you get a second artistry, you can copy the 1st copy you made but you get to copy it 2 times! Because the 1st copy you made is now an artifact along with whatever other types it has and then you could use both modes of your second Saheeli's Artistry!

So you do this til you have 3 or 4 giant creatures in play with total power bigger than your opponent's life total and then make them hasty with Spontaneous Artist and crush them for the win!

Then the rest of the deck is card advantage, tutors and energy or mana sources. The sideboard answers threats you may face on the battlefield and even lets you transform this deck into a control deck when needed!
