Hey guys! This is a mono-blue elemental tribal deck based around the new card Shorecrasher Elemental . The main combo here is Master of Waves + Shorecrasher Elemental . Please read the description below and give advice, which would be greatly appreciated.

NOTE: This is an elemental tribal deck, not just a blue devotion deck.

Frost Walker - A good early game aggro card. It can be helped a lot thanks to Master of Waves, Monastery Siege, Hall of Triumph , and Obelisk of Urd, which either provide it more toughness or make it harder to target.

Master of Waves - This is one of the win conditions of the deck. It buffs all of our elementals, has protection to red, and gives us more elementals. Sounds good to me.

Shorecrasher Elemental - This is a very versatile card. First of all, it gives three devotion, which is great with Thassa, God of the Sea and Master of Waves. It can flicker itself, which helps against removal. It can become a wall or have lots of power. It has megamorph, which is great if you want to make it just a little bigger. And finally, it is an elemental, so it fits in perfectly with the theme of the deck.

Thassa, God of the Sea - This is is a great card. If you do not have enough devotion to make it a creature, it scrys which helps you find some. It is usually a 5/5 indestrucible because of all the Shorecrasher Elemental s running around. On top of being a big creature and helping your draws, it can make your power-boosted Shorecrasher Elemental s unblockable.

Torrent Elemental - Another win con for the deck. It is a decent sized flyer that can become huge thanks to all of the creature buffs. It also pretty much makes all of your creatures unblockable thanks to its second ability.

Vaporkin - A creature I am currently trying to test out. It provides devotion, and can help us early in the game to lower the opponent's life total.

Cloudform - A nice card. It provides devotion. If the manifested card is not a creature, I still get a 2/2 flying hexproof for 1 . If it is a creature, I can turn it face up, it gains flying and hexproof in addition to its other abilities, and I still get the devotion.

Mirror Mockery - A very fun card. Master of Waves + Mirror Mockery is a fun combo to get loads of tokens. It provides devotion. The fun begins when you play it on your opponent's creature. It provides a blocker, and combos great with enter the battlefield effects. Siege Rhino is especially hilarious with this card.

Monastery Siege - A very flexible card. It provides devotion, and it can either help you draw better cards or help protect you and the ones you already have.

Island - No description needed. (What am I supposed to say?)

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx - A must have for a mono-colored deck like this one. This can easily be producing tons of mana very quickly. Even if you have no devotion, it still can tap for 1 .

Dissolve - This is a great card, because it stops your opponent while setting up the next draw for you at the same time.

Thassa's Rebuff - Not helpful if you have no devotion, but if you do, it becomes close to a Counterspell

Bident of Thassa - Great with Thassa, God of the Sea and all of the flyers and unblockables. It provides devotion, and can refill your hand late in the game. Its second ability is a nice combat trick.

Hall of Triumph - Boosts all of our creatures. It is great in mono-colored decks like this one.

Obelisk of Urd - Also boosts most of our creatures. It can easily help us win the game, and has a flexible cost because of convoke.

Note - The sideboard is a work in progress.

Annul - Used against any annoying enchantment/artifact cards. Annul is here because it can stop decks based around cards such as Whip of Erebos for example dead in their tracks.

Disdainful Stroke - Used against any deck that require high costing cards to win. Counters Siege Rhino.

Encase in Ice - Provides devotion while tapping down threats such as Siege Rhino at instant speed.

Neutralizing Blast - More countering, this time against multicolored stuff. It still counters Siege Rhino.

Reality Shift - Gets rid of our opponent's Siege Rhino and replaces it with a 2/2.

Turn 1: Island

Turn 2: Island, Frost Walker

Turn 3: Island, Shorecrasher Elemental , attack with Frost Walker for 4 damage.

Turn 4: Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, tap one Island to play Aqueous Form on Shorecrasher Elemental , tap Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and two islands for , use that for Master of Waves, get 6 2/1 elementals, use the remaining mana to give Shorecrasher Elemental +1/-1, attack with Shorecrasher Elemental and Frost Walker for 10 damage, scry 1 because of Aqueous From

Turn 5: Do whatever you want, just make sure you win.

Okay, so that was overly complicated but notice how I said ideal game.
