In the chaotic world of "Everybody Hates Zedruu," a deck built around creating mayhem and frustrating your opponents. Led by the charismatic and deceptively benevolent Zedruu the Greathearted, this deck focuses on political manipulation, group hug tactics, and unconventional win conditions. By offering gifts, drawing cards, and creating unexpected synergies, you'll sow chaos and watch your opponents struggle to keep up with your unpredictable strategies.

Key Strategy: The primary strategy of this deck is to leverage Zedruu's ability to give away permanents and manipulate the game in your favor. Rather than focusing on winning through traditional means, the goal is to disrupt opponents' plans, encourage political alliances, and ultimately come out on top by outmaneuvering and outlasting your opponents. Embrace the chaos, keep your opponents off-balance, and seize the opportunity to win when they least expect it.

Card Selection:

Political Manipulation: Include cards that enable you to influence the game through diplomacy and alliances. Cards like Statecraft, Propaganda, and Ghostly Prison incentivize opponents to attack each other rather than targeting you. Chaos and Confusion: Embrace the chaos with cards like Confusion in the Ranks, Thieves' Auction, and Grip of Chaos. These cards disrupt the normal flow of the game and create unpredictable situations that can work in your favor. Group Hug: Use group hug cards to gain the favor and trust of your opponents while benefiting from their generosity. Cards like Temple Bell, and Howling Mine provide additional card draw and encourage opponents to keep you alive. Unconventional Win Conditions: Utilize unexpected combos and win conditions to catch your opponents off guard. Combos involving Mind Over Matter with Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind or Quicksilver Dagger can generate infinite draws and much damage, while cards like Felidar Guardian and Saheeli Rai offer a quick path to victory. Mana Base: Design your mana base to support a mix of colors and ensure smooth mana production. Include lands that provide a variety of colours like Command Tower, Exotic Orchard, and the appropriate dual lands for your colour combinations. Additionally, consider including lands that offer utility and support your game plan, such as Mystic Monastery and Ancient Den.

Key Cards:

Zedruu the Greathearted: The centerpiece of the deck, Zedruu's ability to give away permanents sets the stage for political manipulation and unexpected alliances. Use Zedruu to gift troublesome permanents to opponents, gain their favor, and disrupt their strategies. Mind Over Matter: This powerful enchantment enables several combos within the deck, including the ability to draw your entire deck when combined with Quicksilver Dagger or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind. It also combos with Temple Bell to force opponents to draw out their decks. Chaos and Confusion: Cards like Confusion in the Ranks, Thieves' Auction, and Grip of Chaos create an atmosphere of unpredictability, making it challenging for opponents to execute their game plans effectively. Group Hug Effects: Group hug cards like Howling Mine and Temple Bell create a sense of camaraderie with your opponents while ensuring you benefit from the additional card draw. Win Conditions: Explore combos involving Felidar Guardian and Saheeli Rai to generate infinite copies of powerful permanents. Additionally, use Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Swans of Bryn Argoll to draw your entire deck and unleash devastating damage on your opponents. Even if "Everybody Hates Zedruu," your power lies in disruption, chaos, and the unexpected. Forge alliances, sow confusion, and seize victory when your opponents are left scratching their heads. Embrace the madness and enjoy the bewildered faces of your adversaries as you navigate the game with cunning and unpredictability.

To discuss further some combos here that win the game. Mind Over Matter with: Quicksilver Dagger and/or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, good; Temple Bell better. Temple Bell can draw everyone out, as we can discard Nexus of Fate infinitely.

Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind can also draw your deck with Swans of Bryn Argoll, who can also draw as many cards as we want with Chain of Plasma.

You surely know that Saheeli Rai and Felidar Guardian win the game. Also, Gilded Lotus with Mind Over Matter can generate a lot of mana to draw cards with x spells like Stroke of Genius and Pull from Tomorrow.
