I built this deck solely to teach my co-workers who were interested in magic how to play. My co-workers also overheard me talking about some of my decks and that they get rather expensive. This deck was built with budget in mind. This is based off rather simple mechanics like creatures with Flying, and Lifegain creatures. This is all based around creatures that are hard to defend against, hence flying, and overall player survivability.

Deck play: Gain life - apply counters - abuse Baird, Steward of Argive (This card gets out of hand quickly and a lot of the time your opponent just won't have the mana to continuously attack).

Overall this deck did really well when testing, and preformed pretty good against legitimate competitive standard decks (for what it is).

Yes it can use upgrades, yes it could do more, but keep in mind...this was built for $3 and some change, and was meant for newcomers.

I hope some of you will like this deck and that maybe you too can use it to bring in a new player or two.
