I've been really interested in brewing with Numot, the Devastator , but I wanted to shy away from land destruction. That is until a player in my play group showed up playing a Athreos, God of Passage / Demon deck. Basically, we were all sacrificing all of our creatures and he was in turn tacking control of them. So, the easiest way to tackle his deck (and most other decks honestly) is land destruction. This is the kind of deck you play once so everyone knows you have at least one deck that can win....then you put it away until you need to call on it again.
