Why are you hitting yourself? Lightning Helix helps me maintain a slight health advantage, so if I get a Volcano Hellion I can outright one-shot them. Health advantage doesn't even matter though, if I have Saving Grace available, because the damage from Volcano Hellion doubles back on the enchanted creature, enabling an insta-kill. Blasphemous Act is a contingency plan for mid-late game if they are 13 hp or below and have a lot of creatures. Either that, or once again Saving Grace can reflect all the damage back at them.
