Win-Cons

  • Avenger of Zendikar: Either create a giant army of token when it enters or a few but very very large beaters. Either way, it spells BIG TROUBLE for your opponent(s).

  • Craterhoof Behemoth: Living up to its name, it will literally create craters by turning all your mana dorks, tokens and other already monstrous giants into towering behemoths that will trample anything and everything in their wake.

  • Garruk, Primal Hunter: Generates board presence and gives you card advantage.

  • Genesis Wave: Generates impressive and overwhelming board presence.

  • Genesis Hydra: Comes in as a potentially huge beater and serves as a mini " Genesis Wave " that cheats a nonland permanent into play at the same time. Potential candidates to cheat into play are mostly listed in this section, which ones to choose depends on the situation.

  • Hydra Omnivore : 6 CMC for 8/8 is a steal. But being able to hit all opponents at once, that is pure gold. In a multiplayer format, attack the player with the least defense and you will bring the others down with him/her. Talk about attacking the weakest link.

  • Polukranos, World Eater: When she gets Monstrous, she can potentially clear the board or remove any blocker in her way. With Vigor as her dance partner when she becomes monstrous allows her to become even larger than before and deal potentially lethal commander damage. By equipping Sword of Feast and Famine and/or Sword of Light and Shadow, she gains protection from most removals and evasion to finish anyone she sets her sights on.

  • Terastodon: Cripples your opponent(s) effectively or turns three of your non-creature permanents you no longer have any use for into 3/3 beaters.

  • Vigor : Does not really 'win' you the game, but sets you up for the win instead by turn all your creatures into titans after each attack made.

  • Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger: Lock down your opponents mana, double your own and has trample to boot, what more do I need to say.
