Saw an old Legacy list using martyr of frost and one mana fliers, so I wanted to try it in modern, where Chalice of the Void isn't so prevalent. The real trick to this list is learning how many lands you actually need. You have 30 cards that are 2 drops or less, so keeping what would normally seem as a bad hand usually pans out well, since you don't need many to get a quick start. Also, Disrupting Shoal is the best card that doesn't see play. I recommend it.
